When people describe our greeting cards they use words like "beautiful" and "Fair Trade", but we want people to also use "Green"!
Here is why "Green" and Hope For Women go together:
- Hope For Women India greeting cards are made using 100% “tree free” paper, handmade from recycled cotton rags. Not a single tree is involved.
- Our plastic wrap used in all our retail packaging is compostable! Made from EarthFirst PLA film.
- Our remaining packaging uses 100% recycled paper, which in turn can be recycled.
- For all of the printing on all our cards and packages we use only non-toxic vegetable inks.
- All of our flowers and ferns are either grown in our garden using organic farming methods, or are sustainably harvested in the wild without damage to the plant or soil.
