Our Fair Trade Tagua jewelry is handmade by women artisans from sustainably harvested tagua nuts found within the seed pods (cabezas) of the Ivory Nut Palms, native species of the Colombian rainforest.  Tagua is known as the "Ivory of the Rainforest" for its durability and beauty.

The collection of this natural product helps provide incentive to protect and maintain the rainforest.

Our new collection of natural seed jewelry is created by women artisans in the mountainous area of El Mozote, located in northeastern El Salvador near the border with Honduras. Each necklace is made using sustainably harvested seeds collected from plants growing wild in the forests surrounding the town.
