The sounds of laughter and quiet conversation fill an airy, sunlit room where six women are seated among dried leaves and flowers at low wooden tables. As the women arrange the wild plants onto handmade notecards, unique designs of exquisite beauty emerge under each artist's hand. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, more like an afternoon craft group than a typical workday in the foothills of the Himalayas.
