New Eco-Friendly Packaging
Hope For Women is proud to build on our tradition of being eco-friendly in all aspects of our business by announcing our new 100% green packaging.
Why did we make the change?
To fulfill our customer promise of being fully committed to being an environmental leader in the greeting card category.
Here is the exclusive Hope For Women combination of 100% green elements that comprise our line of greeting cards:
- Our special use of EarthFirst PLA corn based compostable film as our "plastic" package wrap.
- Our handmade Fair Trade greeting card made from "tree-free" paper and printed with non-toxic vegetable-based ink.
- A recycled paper insert with Hope For Women "story" and product information, all printed with non-toxic vegetable-based ink.
- A hand crafted envelope embedded with real marigold flower petals - now visible in our new pacakging.
New packaging easily integrates with existing
Many of you have already received some product with our new look, and stores have reported how easily it fits in with any existing inventory.
The social mission and product attributes remain on the back of the package insert, with the eco-friendly details on the front of the insert (see below at right). This green information is a nice compliment to our shelf talker, which is also available to you as a retail partner.
